Happy Holidays everyone! As we get closer and closer to Christmas Eve I thought what better gift than to share an easy holiday curls tutorial with you all! This has been my go to style this year for any christmas party, dinner, or gift exchange. It will most likely be my style for Christmas eve and Christmas day as well haha. It is just so easy, fast, and looks very festive. I hope you enjoy watching and get inspired to try it at home on yourself.

Using The Right Tools
The cool thing about this hair tutorial is that you can use all products that you already have at home. If you don’t have a curling wand, you can always use a normal curling iron that has a clip, as a wand. Just wrap your hair around the entire barrel without opening the clip. Another alternative would be to change the barrel size of your curling wand. Using a 1″ wand would create a tighter curl and an overall more curly look. Using a 1.5″ wand would create a more relaxed curl and an overall more wavy look. Personally, the 1.25″ wand has always been my favorite. Paul Mitchell makes a great want called the Express Ion Unclipped 3-in-1 Curling Iron which allows you to switch out different sized curling rods.
Also any type of dry shampoo, heat protectant spray, and hair spray will work fine! The three I used in this tutorial are my all time favorites. I’ve been using Blow Pro Faux Dry shampoo ever since the first day I ever tried it. I’ve never found another one that works quite the same. It has to have been at least two years now since I discovered it. Once you get your groove and figure out how to squeeze the bottle just right, it’s perfection.
The heat protectant I used in this video is made by AG and is called Firewall. The cool part about this product is that it is also a shine spray. Firewall works perfectly for my hair because it is course and has been chemically altered by bleach so I need the protection from the hot tools. I also need more shine because lightened hair can tend to look dry and dull. This spray never fails to make my hair look and feel more healthy.
Lastly the hairspray I used has been my tried and true holy grail hairspray since high school! It is made by Paul Mitchell and is called Hold Me Tight. It is a touchable, light hold finishing spray that smells absolutely amazing. What I love most about this hairspray is that it applies all night hold while leaving my hair soft and touchable. What more could you want?
Lastly I just want to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Jesus is the reason for the season and I am so so so happy to be able to share this season with the few blog readers I have thus far. It’s been such a joy in my life to have this blog and share any of the skill or knowledge I’ve been lucky to gain over the years. May God bless you all!!!
